Breaking Chains of Poverty
The vision of The Breaking the Chains of Poverty in Zambia scholarship program is to ensure that no child drops out of the best schools in Zambia due to lack of funds. A total of 25 students are currently receiving scholarships from the Zambian Institute for Sustainable Development. Twenty-four are at David Kaunda National Technical High School. The other student, Martin Kabwe, who scored 853 points in Grade 7 – one of the highest in the nation, is at Ndeke Basic School. We plan to expand the scholarship program to more students and other schools. |
"If there were ever a time to dare, to make a difference, to embark on something worth doing, it is now. Not for any grand cause, necessarily, but for something that tugs at your heart, something that's your aspiration, something that's your dream. You owe it to yourself to make your days here count. Have fun. Dig deep. Stretch. Dream big."
