altThe sponsorship of scholarships is strictly based on MERIT grounds only, our goal is to alleviate poverty by using education as the main power component to equip the Zambian citizenry with knowledge in various skills/careers to improve our country and up-lift our country's economic standard and empower Zambians to better their well-being, hence we are active in poverty alleviation through the promotion of education and entrepreneurship. This will give gifted underprivileged students an equal opportunity to compete favorably for limited college/career opportunities and help them break out of their vicious chain of poverty.

Breaking Chains of Poverty

The vision of The Breaking the Chains of Poverty in Zambia scholarship program is to ensure that no child drops out of the best schools in Zambia due to lack of funds. A total of 25 students are currently receiving scholarships from the Zambian Institute for Sustainable Development.

Twenty-four are at David Kaunda National Technical High School. The other student, Martin Kabwe, who scored 853 points in Grade 7 – one of the highest in the nation, is at Ndeke Basic School. We plan to expand the scholarship program to more students and other schools.

Inspirational Quote

"If there were ever a time to dare, to make a difference, to embark on something worth doing, it is now. Not for any grand cause, necessarily, but for something that tugs at your heart, something that's your aspiration, something that's your dream. You owe it to yourself to make your days here count. Have fun. Dig deep. Stretch. Dream big."
